Lion king
Scars perspective
By: iris
Finally, Mufasa was dead as was his naïve cub Simba.
All the pawns are in place, I am king and with the hyenas following my every command, the lions don’t dare to rebel. A few years went on like this, shadows overfalling Pride Rock, and everything was just how it should be, until Simba came back. At first glance, I thought it was Mufasa, but then the other lions started muttering and one conversation stood out, “Simba you’re alive!?”
I growled. The hyenas had one job! “Why don’t you tell them who is responsible for Mufasa's death?”, I growled lowly hoping the lions would turn against Simba if they thought he killed their beloved king. I had him cornered and leaned in to whisper in his ear, “Long live the king”.
A sneer curled upon my lips as I was about to watch him fall to his death. I saw a flash of yellow before falling back. “No Scar, tell them the truth!” he figured it out a just laughed it off “I don’t know what you mean.” The lions started cornering me which caused the hyenas to attack soon resulting in a war. Soon before I knew what was happening, I was at the edge of a cliff “Simba what are you going to do to me? You wouldn’t kill your own uncle!?” he looked like he was debating what to do before answering with, “No, I'm not like you.” He paced around blocking the only exit. "what do you want me to do?” he gave me a cold glare. “Run-away Scar, run away and never return.” I lowered my head in a bow and saw some fire flakes. “Of course,........your Majesty!” I hissed the last part and threw the fire flakes into his eyes, then went in for the kill. We fought for a bit before once again I find myself cornered. “Simba” I look around and see the hyenas watching from the cliff of a cave, then focus my attention back on Simba “i-it’s the hyenas fault they are the ones that-” I was cut off as Simba pushed me off the cliff. I looked to see the hyenas gathering around me “ah my friends” I gave them a reassuring smile, they looked around at each other “friends!? I thought you said we were the enemy!” They snickered “that's what I heard” another one pitched in. They all jumped on me, my vision clouded, I saw red and felt the cold jaws biting into me, then I saw orange and felt warm, and then hot, and then numb, my vision went black. The last thing I heard was the dreaded sound of the hyena's laughter.
