Yukisaru pov.

The first day of school and I’m already late, school starts at 9:20 but I must be there by 9:00 sharp. Not to mention I have to stop at the family store to buy my uniform. I enter the store and find the worker just reading a book, I didn’t want to disturb her so I just looked around, finally I found the uniform, I was in a rush so I threw the money at her and left. Now I’m here the first day at high school. I go to the bathroom and put my uniform on and just as the bell rang, I entered the class “miss matsuda please take your seat” I was so embarrassed, the teacher called me out on my first day. As I walked by a cute girl caught my eye “hello I’m yukisaru matsuda but you can call me yuki!” I held my hand out for her to shake. She looked away dismissing my handshake “I’m kyoko” she was quiet, maybe she’s shy. I gave a quick nod and took my seat; papers were being handed out and I took this time to observe all my classmates. First there was kyoko who was a loner, she had long messy black hair and a berete, she had fair skin and dark brown eyes. Then there was another girl, I didn’t know her name yet but I’m sure sooner or later I will find out, she had a baseball hat and 2 long braids, her hazelnut hair pulled back by blue ribbons, and her school uniform. The last girl in my class had long brown hair and blue eyes, she really stuck out because unlike the others she didn’t wear a uniform but instead wore a witches dress and hat. I found her to be weird but also bold. The reason there was only 4 students in the class was because of covid. After school I got out my book and went grocery shopping. After I got my ingredients I looked around to find knee high boots so obviously I bought them, next I knew that everyone here looked so unique compared to my dull fashion so I went home to my small apartment and put everything away. The next day I woke up early so I could prepare for my transformation. I brushed my hair and pulled it back into a braid that fell right above my skirt. I put brown tights on and my uniform then I put the new brown boots on. At my school we had to social distance, but we didn’t need masks like other schools. On my way to school I see the teacher drop something, out of curiosity I picked it up. It was a file, and, on the front, it said kyoko. Now I didn’t wanna be nosey, but this was my chance to learn more about the cute girl I saw the other day. I read all her interests, a few stood out and I smiled. I quickly rushed to the store shoving the file in my bag and took out money “hello I would like your strawberry milk and pokey” I told the lady. She glanced up from her book “its on the house” she groaned tiredly. I smiled “really!” she went back to her book, she licked her index finger before turning the page “the last thing I want is money being thrown at me again”
