annabellas boyfriend jack was finally able to convince her to come over for a movie night. annabella looked over at her sleeping room mate deciding to not turn on the lights she got ready, she didn't want to explain why she was sneaking off to visit her room mates brother not that vanessa would ask nor believe anything she said not to mention she looked peaceful enough right now. sneaking out of the tidy room, into the exposed hallway she passed the abandoned room, climbed the fence and knocked on the boys dorm. she listened for the sound of foot steps but instead heard something almost inhuman but she trusted jack and waited at the door, finally it slid open "sorry for the wait i was cleaning" noticing the tv on she considered that the source of the noise. the next morning she walked home to find police swarming the building one of them escorted her into the room where her room mate lays dead and written in blood above the vanity it read 'aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights'
