“Gather some grub, polish the armor and sharpen the swords” the butlers rose from there kneeling positions and scurried off to complete their tasks. “The maids shall proceed to their daily chores, the Cheff shall prepare a cuisine and you-” the secretary turned to me “you will be preparing for the royal judgement day draws near” with that he left and achane was left standing alone ‘i hate judgement days’ he thought to himself as he walked through the halls, imprisoned in his mind he tried desperately to escape but his thoughts, his memories all were encaged with no way out.
JUDGEMENT DAY
November 18th 1921
The day of dread has arrived without hesitation, the black silk robe hung loosely on his scrawny frame, he sat at the table and sipped on his orange juice ‘please he’s only a boy!’ he opened his mouth only to close it again ‘when the stars shine, they shine together.... remember that son’ he stared blankly at his burrito and clenched his chest with his free hand ‘I feel so empty’ he finally took a bite of his food ‘your boy will be spared but know this woman he will live the rest of his life as a cold-blooded killer with only one purpose’ he slammed his hands down on the table “SHUT UP” he took a deep breath remembering where he was, and tears drizzled down his face. Achane put on a black mask with a skull pattern representing death. he pulled his hood up then began walking the path that led to despair and death, something felt off and colder than usual. An ear-piercing screech came from the platform and achane stopped dead in his tracks as he realized why he was overcome with dread that there standing with a rope around there neck was lana ‘”thank you nay nay!” lana hugged the books “I bet there is many wonderful things out there we’ve yet to discover!” she pointed to the sky “i wanna go out there someday” she hugged his arm “then why don’t you?” she hesitated “i can’t fly-” he patted her head “why should that stop you?” she giggled “nay nay what do you think is beyond the water?” he thought for a second “hmm I guess more water and villages, trees and more of the same” her eyes brightened with intrest and curiosity’ “lana-” tears threatened to escape and he stepped up and onto the platform right next to the lever “PLEASE, SHES MY SISTER” achane scanned the audience to find lucas ‘”curiosity killed the cat” lana put her hands on her hips and gave a triumph
look “well then good thing I'm not a cat” she shot at Lucas’ snapping out of his memories achane saw something he has never seen by someone about to be executed ‘she’s smiling-’ “never forget me.... nay nay” his eyes widened as he let go of the rope.
